One scientific research fellowship (BI) for MSc. holders and Ph.D. students — as part of the EnergyFlex project—Advanced Tools for a Flexible and Resilient Energy System, Operation No. 16206, COMPETE2030-FEDER-00736300.

Scientific Field: Sustainable Energy Systems

Admission Requirements: Holders of a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Energy, or related fields. Candidates must be enrolled in a doctoral program that covers the field of sustainable energy systems.

Additional requirements and skills: fluency in English (spoken and written). Preferred qualifications include: knowledge of Portuguese; knowledge of energy flexibility activation in different sectors; programming skills; experience using tools such as Python, MATLAB, Julia, GAMS, Pyomo, CPLEX, or Gurobi; and knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods applied to consumption forecasting, energy management, and electricity systems and markets.

Application deadline: The application period runs from July 3 to July 16.
