Location
The first day of the workshop will be hosted by the Faculty of Economics, University of
Coimbra (April 14th). The second day consists of sessions
integrated in the programme of the
25th Mini-EURO
Conference "Uncertainty and Robustness in Planning and Decision Making" (URPDM
2010). Sessions on the second day will be
located at the
Department of Mathematics of U. Coimbra.
Dating from 1290, the U. Coimbra is one of the oldest in
Europe and the oldest in Portugal. It now comprises eight faculties,
including the Faculty of Economics, which was established in 1972.

Coimbra is located in the centre region of Portugal,
easily accessible by car, bus or train from Lisbon (200 Km) or Oporto (130
Km) international airports.

From Porto or Lisboa -
On highway A1, take the
way out to Coimbra.
How to reach Coimbra by train:
- Coimbra is served by two major train services - ALFA - directly from
LISBON (Sta. Apolónia Station) or OPORTO (Campanhã Station) - and
INTERCIDADES with direct links to Lisbon, Oporto and Braga. For more
detailed information look at the Portuguese Railway Services (CP) at
http://www.cp.pt.
- Coimbra is served by two railway stations: COIMBRA A in the city
centre and COIMBRA B in the north of the city. ALFA and INTERCIDADES
stop at COIMBRA B. There are several link services from COIMBRA B to
COIMBRA A (city centre) by train.
